KIA-PAY Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 5, 2026

KIA-PAY is a payment service provided by KIA / KIATOKEN that allows merchants to create and manage payment requests for KIATOKEN (KIA) payments.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, processed, transmitted, and stored when merchants, customers, website owners, or WordPress users interact with KIA-PAY and the KIA-PAY WordPress plugin.

1. Information We May Collect

Depending on how KIA-PAY is used and which optional fields are completed, we may process the following information:

• Payment amount
• Selected currency
• Merchant reference, invoice number, or order reference
• Tax information
• Merchant public wallet address
• Customer or payer name
• Customer email address
• Customer phone number
• Customer billing or mailing address
• Customer identification type
• Customer identification information when voluntarily provided
• Customer notes or payment-related notes
• Payer public blockchain wallet address
• Blockchain transaction hash
• Payment status and payment timestamps
• Technical information necessary to process, verify, and maintain payment requests

Optional customer information is transmitted only when it is entered or provided as part of a payment request.

KIA-PAY does not require or store customer cryptocurrency private keys or wallet seed phrases.

2. How We Use Information

Information may be used to:

• Create and process KIA-PAY payment requests
• Calculate estimated KIATOKEN payment amounts
• Display and maintain payment status
• Verify blockchain transactions
• Generate payment receipts
• Provide merchant payment records and reporting
• Send payment-related notifications or receipts
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use
• Diagnose technical issues
• Maintain and improve the security and reliability of KIA-PAY
• Comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations

3. KIA-PAY WordPress Plugin

The KIA-PAY WordPress plugin connects a merchant’s WordPress website to the KIA-PAY service at:

https://pay.kiahelps.com

When the plugin’s payment features are used, information related to the payment request may be transmitted from the WordPress website to KIA-PAY.

This may occur when:

• A live KIATOKEN payment estimate is requested
• A payment request is created
• A payment record is refreshed or synchronized
• A customer is redirected to the hosted KIA-PAY payment page

A merchant must configure the plugin with a KIA-PAY Developer API key before authenticated payment functionality can be used.

The Developer API key is intended to be transmitted server-to-server and should not be intentionally exposed through the public customer interface.

4. Blockchain Information

KIATOKEN transactions take place on a public blockchain network.

Blockchain transactions may permanently expose public information including:

• Public wallet addresses
• Transaction hashes
• Token amounts
• Transaction timestamps
• Other blockchain transaction metadata

Blockchain records are public and cannot normally be modified or deleted by KIA-PAY.

KIA-PAY does not control the public blockchain or third-party blockchain infrastructure.

5. Non-Custodial Service

KIA-PAY is designed as a non-custodial payment service.

KIA-PAY does not take custody of users’ cryptocurrency private keys and does not require users to provide wallet seed phrases.

Payments are initiated using the customer’s cryptocurrency wallet and are sent to the merchant’s configured wallet according to the payment transaction.

Users are responsible for protecting their wallets, private keys, seed phrases, devices, and account credentials.

6. Information Stored by Merchants

Merchants using KIA-PAY or the KIA-PAY WordPress plugin may independently collect or retain customer and transaction information.

Each merchant or website owner is responsible for:

• Providing its own privacy disclosures where required
• Obtaining any legally required consent
• Protecting customer information stored on its systems
• Complying with applicable privacy and data protection laws

KIA-PAY is not responsible for independent data collection or privacy practices performed by merchants outside the KIA-PAY service.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary to provide, secure, operate, or comply with requirements related to the KIA-PAY service, including with:

• Infrastructure and hosting providers
• Email or communication service providers used for payment notifications
• Blockchain networks and blockchain infrastructure providers
• Security, fraud prevention, or technical service providers
• Government, regulatory, or legal authorities when required by law

Information submitted through public blockchain transactions will become publicly available according to the operation of that blockchain.

8. Data Retention

KIA-PAY may retain payment and transaction information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide merchant payment history and receipts
• Support payment verification
• Resolve disputes or technical issues
• Prevent fraud or abuse
• Maintain security
• Meet legal, accounting, regulatory, or operational requirements

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable requirements.

Public blockchain information is outside KIA-PAY’s control and may remain permanently available.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information handled by KIA-PAY.

However, no online service, network, blockchain, or data transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should never provide private keys or wallet seed phrases to KIA-PAY.

10. Cookies and Sessions

KIA-PAY may use cookies, session identifiers, or similar technologies when necessary to:

• Maintain authenticated merchant or administrator sessions
• Secure account access
• Maintain payment workflow state
• Prevent unauthorized access
• Provide essential service functionality

These technologies are used primarily for functional and security purposes.

11. Third-Party Services

KIA-PAY may depend on external infrastructure or services required to provide payment functionality, including blockchain networks, wallet applications, hosting providers, email services, and other technical infrastructure.

Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

KIA-PAY is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party services.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the information involved, users may request:

• Access to personal information associated with them
• Correction of inaccurate personal information
• Deletion of eligible personal information
• Information about how personal information is processed

Certain information may not be removable when it must be retained for legitimate legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, or transaction-verification purposes.

Information permanently recorded on a public blockchain generally cannot be deleted or modified by KIA-PAY.

13. Children’s Privacy

KIA-PAY is not designed specifically for children.

Users must comply with applicable laws concerning age requirements and cryptocurrency transactions in their jurisdiction.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when KIA-PAY features, technologies, legal requirements, or data practices change.

The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
